Actually, I think I found a solution to it. All I needed to do was to run the game in OpenGL. Then I set the graphics to default medium settings to fix some other small graphical issues outside the truck. Now the game is running just fine.

The intro sequence disappeared though. I can only hear the sound, but I can live with it.

Hello, could you help me with an Euro Truck Simulator 2 bug? The rain gets pixelated and screws up the whole cabin inside the truck.

I read one of your comments in a thread from 2 years ago. It seems you were having the same issue as me. I was wondering if you ever found out what was the problem and how you fixed it. I've searched everywhere and it looks like I'm the only person having this issue.
